How to Restore Your Rights:
Identify the legal reason your rights were revoked.
If due to a felony, apply to restore your civil rights: restore.virginia.gov
After civil rights are restored, petition your local circuit court for firearm rights.
Gather strong support documents:
Proof of rehabilitation
Employment or community involvement
Character references
Mental health clearance (if applicable)
Consult legal aid or a local attorney to help guide your petition.
